I have had an old version of Money (about 2004 or so) load perfectly on Windows XP, but last night it crashed when I opened the Investment Portfolio. Money is the only native Windows program I have thrown onto the system and I am just going to persevere and use it on Windows 7 - or will I get an old version of Money on there. I am so grateful that I found this forum and the posts about Money being downloadable, but I am now a little confused as to what version of Money I should be using and whether it will convert to the latest version.
Thanks for the help. I've downloaded and installed MS Money 2007 on my Windows 7 machine and it recognizes all of my old MS Money 2002 files (such as the work file). Now I need to access the file to backup it. I assume you have to convert it. Can anybody tell me the correct steps to do this? Any help appreciated.
Hello,I was wondering if anyone knew how to open/convert an old version of Money to the latest version, 2007. A quick google search lead me here to ask the question, hopefully my question makes sense. I've had a 2002 file for a while now and today MS Money decided it wasn't working quite so fine. Wouldn't mind converting over completely if I could find out how to do it...
Hello,I have MS Money 2007 and I am having problems opening a 2002 file I have saved before. It works fine on my windows 7 machine, but when I try to open it on my windows 2003 server it says "the file may not be valid. You may be trying to edit the wrong file"If you can help that would be great. d2c66b5586
